Présentation FDCT

As a reminder, the FDCT is a public institution of the State, in the category of financing funds. Note that it was born by decree No. 2016-729 / PRES / PM / MCAT / MINEFD of August 8, 2016. This establishment has a main mission. Indeed, it offers the Burkinabe cultural and tourism sector technical and financial support to ensure the development of cultural and tourism industries.

On the one hand, it is under the financial supervision of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Foresight (MEFP). And on the other hand, it is under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism (MCCAT).

The Cultural and Tourism Development Fund (FDCT) is today the only innovative national mechanism for financing culture and tourism in Burkina Faso. Indeed, it represents an important issue for socio-economic development within the framework of the implementation of the PNDES (axis 3). It is also an opportunity for the culture and tourism sector in Burkina Faso. Sources
